Hi there,
If we haven’t met yet, or you’re new to the studio (or thinking of joining us), I’d love to introduce myself and share a little bit of my journey with you.
I’m Bianca, the proud owner of Heart & Soul Yoga. I officially took over the studio just one week before the world shut down in March 2020 — and what a wild, transformative ride it’s been ever since.
Many of you know me as a yoga teacher, but I’m also a singer. I’ve been singing since I was 16, regularly performing in a Duo and Band, and I’m also classically trained — with performances in opera and concerts over the years. For the past 25 years, I’ve taught singing to students of all ages from my home studio here in the Shire, which I’ve called home all my life.
Being able to bring together my two deepest passions — music and yoga — is a dream come true. While they may seem like separate worlds, I believe they share something profound: both have the power to heal, to transform, and to bring us back to ourselves. In fact, both have saved me at different times in my life.
My goal is to create a space where everyone feels seen, supported, and welcomed — whether you’re an experienced yogi or stepping onto the mat for the very first time. I’m not the most flexible person in the room. I can’t do all the fancy poses. And I’m still learning the deeper philosophy of yoga every day. But I show up, with heart and honesty, because I know how life-changing this practice can be.
Recently, I’ve started weaving sound healing and mantra into my classes — blending my love of music into the yoga space in a way that feels powerful and real. These practices are here to help you drop into yourself, reset your nervous system, and find some peace in the noise of everyday life.
I’m not here to be a guru — just a guide. Someone who listens. Someone who welcomes you with a smile. Someone who wants to help you leave each class feeling just a little lighter, more grounded, and more connected than when you arrived.
Thank you for being part of the Heart & Soul community. I’m so glad you’re here.
With love,
Bianca 🤍
